Hilton Garden Inn Worcester

We chose Hilton Garden Inn Worcester because it was a Hilton, had an indoor pool, and seemed family-friendly – we were traveling with two small children and paid over $400 per night. From the beginning, cleanliness was shockingly poor. We found large clumps of black hair in several places and even floating in the hot tub, along with what looked like a piece of skin. The towels were dirty, with black hairs and a visible glob of spit. We had specifically requested daily cleaning, but this was completely ignored. The indoor pool – one of the main reasons we booked this place – was so filthy that we couldn’t let our children use it. It was effectively unusable. Breakfast was yet another disappointment – grossly overpriced and very poor quality. Given what we paid, it was shockingly bad. When we brought up our concerns with reception, the staff were rude and dismissive. They claimed they didn’t know anything, couldn’t help, and even said they weren’t familiar with the rooms because they “only work at reception.” They also had never heard of the safe box that was supposed to be available. In the end, we were so dissatisfied that we decided to leave early and check into another hotel. I cannot recommend this place to anyone – certainly not to families, and absolutely not at these prices. A deeply disappointing experience from start to finish.
